Do you have tons of glam clothes and nowhere to where them? I do.So instead of sulking about having no where to go , I decided to make glam Halloween looks.
Crisp mornings, sweltering afternoons, and cold nights; that is Fall in North Carolina for ya! You literally have to dress for 3 seasons all in one. Being a NC native I am ready to tackle fall , and in the most Caribbean Cowgirl-est way lol.
Today's post is new to you guys , but kind of old to me. I shot this look a month or so ago and just sat on it.I named this post Strawberry Shortcake, not only because of my shoes but also this post will be short, sweet, and satisfying (hopefully), bon appetite.
Halloween is right around the corner, and I am still on the fence about a costume post. For now please enjoy my dark, yet lovely sultry night time look.
Hiya guys and gals! It's Wednesday which means only one thing to me :it's not Friday.Over it! I'm keeping it cool, casual, and straight up geek'ed today.
Long time no post huh? Well it's only been a week and I have good reason. Hurricane Matthew devasted much of eastern North Carolina.6 days with out lights , tremendous amount of flooding, and fallen trees left me almost immobile. Compared to my neighbors and family back home I didn't lose much , and for that I am thankful.
I am still wrapped up with Shop Feline and their amazing headwraps as I close out the week. With Hurricane Matthew making it's way up the coast, I have been in much more of a solemn mood . So much damage and so many lives lost in Haiti , I am not much in the mood to be jazzed up. I pray for all those weathering the storm and mourning the loss of loved ones.
I'm keeping it under wraps all week with Shop Feline.I am wearing one of their solid color head wraps tied in a bow for the ultimate feminine Old Hollywood glam.Shop them here to see all of their fab pieces. You know how much I love Burgundy , so get used to seeing a lot of it this season.
I have been jamming to Solange's new album, A seat at the Table, like many over the weekend. Amidst all of the social unrest , it's great to hear positive tunes promoting unapologetic blackness. Being the proud black girl I am , I am sharing a little of my #blackgirlmagic in a fly girl type of way.
That's Just Me!
I love fashion, the outdoors, and things on sale.
