I did a style tribute to my mom Monday, so it is only fitting I do a style tribute to my sweet papi-pop, aka my Jamaican daddy.

I have been a repeat offender lately. So in the spirit of the repeat I am slaying the shoulder game once again! My black and white bandage off the shoulder top (Shein, $10..old) perfectly complimented my khaki culottes (Romwe, old).I wanted to go with a Safari type theme so I laced up my snakeskin Zara pumps (old) and grabbed my backpack purse from Shein ($20) to add a pop of color. I kept my accessories simple by pairing my statement necklace from Chanel styles ($10) with some old wooden bangles. We all know I love I good ol' statement piece. This is really where my straw pom pom hat (BCBG, $38..old) came into play. Not only does it coordinate color-wise with my top and pants, but it is also such a fun eye-catching piece that really seals this look. Today you are all in for a special treat. I have collaborated with some other fantastic bloggers from around the world and they are also baring shoulders. Take a look below on how they all rock the off the shoulder trend: Ig names from top left to right: @stylebykaka , @kaiye_marie , @thebeningirl

I know I haven't posted in almost a week, but I have been busy fighting off the lazy disease. lol. Denim is a staple for any wardrobe and can be dressed up or down.2015 has been the year of the jumpsuit, so tried my hand at the trend as well mules. The peep toe mules are such statement by themselves, there was no need to pile on heavy accessories. Keeping that in mind I paired my light denim wash jumpsuit and peep toe mules with a mini suede bucket bag and an orange Karlito bag charm for a fun summer flair. Enjoy :) Light-wash denim jumpsuit (Forever 21,$13..on sale) Snakeskin peep toe mules (Shoedazzle, $16.50...on sale) Hoops (Express, old) Anklet (Jewelry Designs by Tim Ellis, $10) Mini Suede bucket bag (Diane Von Furstenberg, $3..thrifted) TGIF!!!! Just wanted to serve up a little fun print on print on print action for the weekend! I may not be on a vacation, but it doesn't mean I can't look like I am. Live every day fabulously, and dress to thrill. Enjoy :) Straw visor (thrifted, $3) Floral printed top (Shein.com, $6) Leaf printed pants (Shein.com, $12) Pointed Dorsay faux snakeskin flats (Zara, $19.99....last year) Wooden beaded bag (thrifted, $3) Glass and wood bead bracelets with lion charms (Jewelery Designs by Tim Ellis, $20) Happy Friday lovelies!! Today's post will feature one of my fave summer colors, Teal. This beautiful color combines both blue and green to give a fantastic hue similar to that of tropical waters (which is perfect considering that is where most of us wish we were right now!).To compliment the Teal, I ideally chose blue and green accessories to uplift the white in the dress. Enjoy ;) Mixed Media Teal and White Shift Dress ( Shein.com. $8.80) Satin Teal Ribbon Lace-up Pumps (Madison x Shoedazzle ,$7.50) Faux Snake Skin Purse (Target, $13...Old) Green Imperial Jasper Gemstone Bracelet (Jewelry Designs by Tim Ellis, $35) |
