After some much need head clearing and closet cleaning I am back! After crying and cleaning I feel so much relief. Suprisingly I realized what lead to a lot of my increased anxiety last week; PMS.I forget about that every month *sighs in cramps and balls up in a corner.Upon cleaning out my closet I not only realized I have way too much, but also that I need to reuse more pieces. Versatility and reusability are vital keys in fashion.Buying pieces and wearing them once is like a one hit wonder. No one really wants that.Longetivity in a piece or in any industry is always the goal.
I was stumped about what I would talk about on my next post after my horrific experience posting on Monday. However I was on Facebook and saw a post stating a fashion blogger just got arrested for being a real life "Joanne the Scammer".I saw it on a gossip site, so I quickly did my research.I don't want to be talking about some lies and being messy.Get ready for the mess, yesssss let's...
'The most disrespected woman in America is the black woman. The most unprotected person in America is the black woman. The most neglected person in America, is the black woman.'- Malcolm X

Who likes Twizzlers? Anybody? Well I sure don't.They are gross--bland even.I will have no parts of that.So why did I name this post Liquorice then? Well, because the dress looks like Twizzler.Doesn't it? Please say it does...
Hi Kids! *in my Keke Palmer voice. Thanks for stopping by today. The gag for today is *drum roll please JUST BE YOURSELF! Why you ask? Because everyone else is taken. It is so easy to get lost on the sauce in a world of social media and fashion overload, especially as a blogger. There is a thin line between inspiration and emulation which is very easy to get crossed and or blurred. As many of you may know, I love a great inspired look.I may see something on someone and it may spark my imagination and that is how is starts. I also don't mind acknowledging the origins of my inspirations either. In a world, where sometimes style is masked in a uniform look of Olive and nude colored bodycon, middle -parted hair ,flawless makeup, and coke-bottle body types it is refreshing to see so many resist the peer pressure and potential IG likes just to be true to their style. I admire that and that is why I pay homage.
That's Just Me!
I love fashion, the outdoors, and things on sale.
