Happy Sunday! I hope everyone has enjoyed the summer because it is nearing its end. Goodbye brights, hello teal, burgundy, olive and other romantic fall hues. Today's inspired look is my own little farewell to summer fun. The long days and fun filled summer nights, fireworks, cookouts, lemonade, all the components of a southern summer I hoped to incorporate in this look. I hope you enjoy my ode to summer ;) Valentino inspired 70's rainbow dress (Shein.com $10) Neon yellow trainers (Topshop, $20) Red mini messenger bag (Zara,$10 old) Beaded bracelets (Jewelry designs by Tim Ellis ,custom design) Gorgeous brown skin(Melanin, God given .lol)

Hello and happy Friday! I know it's been a while since I have posted...working on a few things. I promise to get back in the groove. To make up for it, I am serving a few offerings on how I style the fringe skirt. From crop tops,to blazers mixed with sneakers or mules I have compiled my own favorite combos for fringe that incorporate both knee-length and midi-length.I will also be posting where to buy as well.Stay tuned....and enjoy :) It's Hump Day!!! Two more day til Friday!!!! I always wanted to go to France; I took French in school and everything! lol Let's just say I'm still waiting to go. In the meantime, I decided to just imagine myself there among the French fashionistas with a Minnie Mouse twist! A pearl ear head band , pearl earring and ear cuff along with the pops of red are all Minnie. The dainty bag, geometric shapes skirt, Balmain tee, and romantic pumps are French inspired. The red pout...well that's all me!! Enjoy ;) Pearl Ear Headband (old) Red/Coral Crop Blazer (Zara, $39.99) Balmain tee (inspired) Black Sequin Mini purse (thrifted) Geometric Print Organza Skirt (Shein.com, $10.00) Black Strappy Pumps (JustFab,$14.99) What a beautiful Sunday it is!! I hope everyone is enjoying this glorious day! Sunday's style was inspired by a classic silhouette ,the A-line floor length skirt. I modernized the look by adding a criss-cross crop top , and added a straw fedora and wooden bead bag for summer styling. Accessories were kept to a minimum to let the ensemble do the talking ,but I did decide to pull my black Christian Louboutin D'orsays for the heck of it.Enjoy :) Straw Fedora (Target,$19.99) Criss-Cross crop top (Shein.com $5.00) Floral A-line long skirt (Shein,$12.00) Pearl earrings (Gojane,$3.00) Wood beaded bag (Thrifted,$3.00) Gem stone bracelet (Jewelry Designs by Tim Ellis, $50) D'orsay Pumps (Christian Louboutin, old) |
