Are you tired of me yet? No?! Good.I'm going to try to stay festive the rest of the year with fun holiday inspired looks.
Now that you are too full to go out and shop let me give you a list of some great places to shop online and #buyblack. Each of these businesses is black-owned and ranges from clothing apparel ,accessories, shoes, jewelry, cosmetics and hair. From low-end to high-end, I got you covered. Click the gallery pics to shop the piece! Hope you enjoy the new format by the way ! My computer hates me.I had it set up to show the price of the item when you hover over the pic, but Weebly is not having it today...my apologies.
Wishing you all a happy Thanksgiving! This day is about more than just getting off of work or greens, beans, potatoes, tomatoes, lamb, ram etc. (you naaaame it!).Being thankful is and should be a daily state of being.
This is the last day of the work week for me and I am ecstatic! So ecstatic that I will not be doing much in the office today (praying my supervisor doesn't follow my blog...lol).
H&M is always snatching coins every November with their amazing designer collabs. From Balmain, Alexander Wang, and most recently Kenzo. These innovative partnerships give the financially challenged and 'balling on a budget' types like myself a chance to be street style fabulous within our means. I am also thankful that Kim Kardashian doesn't wear Kenzo because I would have never had a chance to snatch a piece from the collection *insert dry laughter here.
There's a new style sheriff in town. It's me. Here to tell you not put away those shorts just yet. The onset on colder weather means pulling out all the heavy artillery, but it's also the time for layering.
I love to experiment and try new things.I have been wanting to try a new lip color for a while now and finally got the courage to do so.
Put yo' pinky rings up to the moon! You guys I was so feeling myself this weekend. Me and hubs were celebrating our 7 year anniversary and I finally had a reason to dress up! I mean I love him and he is my world, that's what I should be more excited about which I was...I just never really get to dress up. Do not judge me.
The election is over, but my life isn't. I am a black woman .These are two things I can never disguise and will never be ashamed of. These are elements of me I am extremely proud to display. When I started this blog a year ago I wanted showcase brands that reflect both black business owners and women. With so many issues facing those that look like me, I found it more increasingly important to not only showcase but put my money where my mouth is.
