Ahem *clears throat That girl is a real crowd pleaser Small world, all her friends know me (know meeeeeee) aaaannnnnd stop. That's all I know. Seriously and I had to look that part up for verification purposes. I have been style inspired all week by some of my fave bloggers ,and today is no different. So let's travel across the pond, shall we? We shall. The UK honestly (truly) has some of theeeee best style I have seen! It is so fun, eccentric, whimsical, dainty, and posh all in one. My fave UK bloggers encapsulate all of these qualities in their own unique brand of street style. Here's to my melanated style mavens across the pond! *tosses hat in the air (RIP Mary Tyler Moore) Alero, girl give me your closet! This chic is fly with a capital F-L-Y. Equipped with a sense of humor to match the wittiest (me) and a penchant for bright colors this street style star is unmatched. Her purse game, shoe game,& accessory game, are always a treat and always on my wishlist.Check out her blog for the latest trends and to see her splashing her colorful fashion out on the town www.alerobuttercup.com or on IG at @aleroandjax This is Rita Colson. She is the epitome of vintage prim and posh mixed with feminine modern silhouettes. Her eyes are as bright and wide as her infectious smile! She is also a bridal fashion designer, yes right?! Check out the stunning Rita's blog www.colsonstyletheory.com or on IG @colsonstyletheory .Hey Rita, how is Pete (the peacock)? I miss you guys hanging out, hope he is ok lol. Coline Bejamin.Where do I begin? Ummm well, she is an island gyal *bwap bwap oh yea and she is a tall glass of mocha EVERYTHING! Whether in a flowy gown or jeans and heels, she brings the sultry EVERYTIME! I'm still wondering why she isn't modeling yet.Her effortless mixing of high end and affordability (like Zara and H&M) are one of the many reasons I love her! Follow my babe on IG @colinebenjamin Alero's love for brights and cool accessories inspired my brooches , yellow tint sunnies and dark lip. Because Coline makes any print look awesome I grabbed this now sold out jumpsuit from Zara and paired it with my also sold out Zara velvet boots. Its ruffles along the V-neck give it just enough femininity. I don't have cheekbones like Coline, but I sure can pretend (by smothering the apples of my cheeks with bronzer).I have been sitting on this blazer for over a year. I am sure Rita would be proud to know this stunning velvet quilted dream is vintage *does cabbage patch. I know how small details matter to someone who is a designer, so I layered fishnets under my jumpsuit. The turtle neck/wig combo is yea...you guessed it Beatles inspired. I grabbed a purple bag because I think all three ladies would appreciate it.I hope I did you ladies justice, you deserve it. I have been talking about inspiration a lot this week right? Why is that sistah girl? Well because I believe in seeing the good first in people. I have always been that way. I was meant to see everything. My eyes are like cue balls with pupils. I grew up very self conscious. The reason being, I was constantly surrounded by people with so many beautiful features and talents that I begin comparing myself to them.I felt like I wasn't good enough, smart enough, pretty enough, shapely enough etc. I was very very insecure, but I always gave credit where credit was due , well mostly unless some ugly girl was pushing up on my one of my boyfriends (but that was soooo 6th-12th grade though...ancient history..I still might not speak to them though.I'm petty first class). These big eyes are what I hated most of all. My road dog ,since 2nd grade and soul mate (lol), Landa used to always say "Neek (my nickname), I just love your eyes friend!". I just knew she was kidding and thought she secretly wanted to fight. There was nothing cute about these alien eyes of mine.As I got older, I realized the things about me that didn't compare with others made me uniquely me and beautiful. I learned to accept myself while still recognizing the beauty in everyone else. Landa still says how much she loves my eyes by the way, and I don't think we wants to fight. That's growth right there folks. Because I notice everything, I notice how people change when you genuinely recognize something positive within them. It's like a light bulb going off inside a lot of times. I know how much a positive comment can encourage someone. My BFI (best friends til infinity...longer than forever, duh!) Lashika suggested I start a blog and truly meant it and believed in me so here I am. Thanks Shik-a-leek! Positivity begets positivity and we could all use some of that in our life. I am just doing my part to keep in going. My whole look is sold out because I am a clearance queen and I love to see you suffer when you can't have the same pieces I have ,kidding. It is sold out though, but you have great comparable and affordable alternatives below.

Girl I have no idea how in the world you did not feel beautiful. I swear I always admired how you could throw something together and make it pop. Especially coming from the world we were limited to. I'm proud of you and you are beautiful.

It is great to see you took something from all the people that currently inspire you and you made it your own. The photography in your post is goals. The outfit itself is ingenious. And I am off to follow those bloggers. I couldn't agree more in surrounding yourself with positive people, especially because involuntarily you are a product of what you surround yourself with. Job well done. Keep it coming ❤️❤️❤️
