I didn't chose the wig life. The wig life chose me. I love my natural hair, but I also love slapping a wig on top of it.I like options, and lots of them. My whole life I have been that way. Words like steady ,never-changing ,and same just make my skin crawl. It's like something goes off in my head and I have to switch it up.I actually had my hair loc'd for 3 years, woke up one day was like "let's try to comb these out".12 hours and one huge finger blister later, I had a glorious fro which I took for granted. Texturizers, Domincans, and lack of knowledge led to 2 chops since. I have learned my lesson. When in doubt, wig it out girl! I got this wig at my local beauty supply, but you guys were not letting me off easy so I research a verifiable site to buy it online. It's the same GoGo brand and style.Don't be alarmed the picture does it no justice. They have it brused down so you can't see the layers, but trust me this synthetic wig is the business! Shop here for $9.99!! Some of their colors are out of stock so I found another site that carries more colors for $11.99,shop here (still a great deal!) I know there are many who are afraid of coming over to the wig world and I was skeptical too. My advice is start with a cheap one and (like mine), go to your local beauty supply and try on a few to see what cuts flatter your face. Wig 101:Aside from the wig I am wearing my wigs are always from the Cutie Brand. They are synthetic , but they look very natural and have a lot of body.I just found a site that carries the Cutie Brand called Diva Tress.Shop the Cutie Collection of wigs here. The model pictures do NOT do them justice ...AT ALL! lol Trust me if you are new to the wig scene or you like cheap options, this is the way to go! These wigs are low maintenance and last a long time (the shorter the length the longer it's last because of tangling). They can also be washed as well.I have washed mine at least twice.I hope these tips are helpful and if you have any specific questions on a particular style let me know in the comments! This wig with its asymmetrical side swoop oozes sexy so I had to assemble a look that reflected that, but that also reflected my style.I am a mom.I have stretch marks.I have no hips, short (5'2'') minimal booty, minimal boobs (this is getting depressing);but I know my body so it's not really a surprise. This blazer dress was the focal point of the look.I really wanted to wear it as a dress, but the weather was NOT havin' it! Being fairly slim (no thick, well a little 'ayyyyee!') I have to go with things that make me look shapely or at least compliment my frame. These vintage (and thrifted) mom jeans really hit my waist just right and holds my bottom belly flab in just right. Because it was cold and I was getting on the sexy tip, I grabbed my fancy fishnets that everyone loves so much and layered them under my pants. Everyone has been jacking them up over their pants, so I did the same. I actually like it. Its like a lil sexy layer that camouflages tummy fat (mom approved). To ensure my fishnets would get their shine I opted for a crop top (push through B-cups!).For the last bit of finishing, I added my belt from another jacket as a scarf ,grabbed one chandelier earring (Like a BOSS), and my thrifted sequin bag and was ready to be seen! Shop my look by clicking each piece! This blazer dress though! So this week I am featuring pieces by black-owned boutiques. This bomb feathered blazer FLYAWAY dress (link featured above) is found at Couture Sexiness Boutique. This Arizona based boutique features some of the hottest and sexiest styles not found at your local mall. I had been eying a featured trimmed blazer for a year or so and came across this on their IG page. Not only are their pieces quality (The piece itself is thick quality, well made, and the feathers didn't shed at all), but the customer service is excellent! I ordered this on a weekday and received it by the next weekend. The owner also emailed me to let me know about my delivery! If you have been following me for a about a year or so I also teamed up to do a Lemonade Giveaway last year and April and also featured them in my November BUYING BLACK post. Ladies if you are need of something sexy from body-con to black and covered in fur or feather be sure to support this black-owned business.Shop their site Couturesexiness.com if you have any questions on any of their pieces regarding sizing or delivery feel free to go to their contact information. If you are an instagram addict (like me) follow them on IG @couturesexiness_boutique. This satin lapeled blazer dress is perfect for almost any fab occasion! Pair with denim(pants or shorts, wide leg pants, or even wear it as a sexy dress! Be sure to drop hints to bae so you can have it in time for Valentine's Day, Ahkaaay!

Girl.... this look was the caffeine I needed for a Tuesday morning. I absolutely love that fringe blazer dress. Wrong time of the month to be making this sort of purchase otherwise I would have snappped it up. You rock that wig so well. I didn't realise you are a must. Way to go yummy mummy. I love that most of the pieces came from black owned businesses, if we don't support our own who will :) good job mama. Looking forward to the next post 💋💋
