It's two days until Christmas.Guess how many gifts I have bought? Not one.I am not sorry one bit. I am hopeless shoe romantic. Is that even a thing? Oh, well it is now.As a (hopeless) shoe romantic, I love shoes (pretty self explanatory). That means my money will be spent on shoes. No, I do not have $5 to give you until you get paid (do even ask) I only have shoe money. All exaggeration aside, I love a great shoe simply because it can make or break a look. These shoes are my latest fashion scam *shouts 'Got eeeeem!'.The Miu Miu fur heeled loafers like this were sold out.Which was totally fine in my book because I don't splurge on shoes with less than a 3 inch heel.I know that is a little weird, but having a higher heel makes it somehow more 'worth it' to me. Still in the holiday spirit, as promised, I am back in my Christmas uniform of green and red. This bomber was such a great dupe of the Gucci Embroidered Duchesse Bomber and for under $45 it's a fashion scammer's dream. The dress + pants combo was one I had yet to try, but there is a first time for everything.Inspired by looks I found online and the eccentric style crew of the Man Repeller blog, I took a stab at it.So how did I do? My goal was to keep it simple with holiday flair.I know I don't have on a full shirt, but it was close to 70 degrees the day I shot this look.My sequin bag, more than likely an old 'prom purse', was a thrift find for $3.The disressed denim I am wearing were the ultimate score from my local Plato's Closet Consignment. They are Current/Elliot denim for which I only paid a proud 4 quarters.Yes, you read right they were $1.To make them a bit modern, I cut the hem of the pants asymmetrically. In co nclusion I am pretty sure I slayed.I felt only confidence in this ensemble, even though my abs have smelted into a holiday 'one-pack'.Fin. Shop my full look below (excluding my purse which was thrifted).Click each pic to shop the item.(Denim and shoes is similar/not exact pair).
