I literally love any excuse to get dressed up. From church, social events, work, grocery store, gas station whatever--- I'm there to slay it. Living out in the country ,other than the blog, I don't have many events to get dolled up for. However someone has a class reunion coming up (spoiler alert, it's me) and I am so ready. I literally have 3 looks on standby. The look I am wearing now is a top contender. This two piece set comes in black and royal blue. The bandeau top has a tie waist so tighten it if you are trying to look snatched .The skirt is the perfect length for a formal or semi-formal setting. My reunion is said to be semi-formal which to me means formal ;making this look perfect. I used the waist belt off of a black duster I own and wore it as a neck scarf. Shop this look formal 2 piece look here. My earrings are currently sold out, but Romwe has plenty others for the same price($5.99) and similar style. Shop similar styles here. It wasn't planned , but they matched my Jimmy Choos (therealreal.com) perfectly. I wanted to get a close up of these gems, but my toes were not done and it would not be fair for you all to endure my feet right now. I of course had to go with my signature red lip Cherry Blossom from Coloured Raine.
I'm so excited for my reunion not only to get dressed up but to see all my classmates. I think I got along with mostly everyone, as far as I can remember it's been 10 years. Believe it or not , I looked nothing like this in school. I want to post to show you all, but I get bad flashbacks lol. I was always being loud and crazy in school. I think it's because I am the middle child of 5 siblings. Me and my friends called each other the '06 muffins' (I was raspberry, yeaaaa). We had t-shirts and everything. Guess who came up with the name (spoiler: it's me again)We were so legit. I may get nostalgic and post some pics to share with you all. Just remember it's ok to be lame in school, as long as you slay on everyone at the class reunion. That was my plan all along.....*birdman handrub
